Maumee has New “Capped Open Enrollment” Policy

Effective April 2, 2020, the Maumee City School District has a "capped open enrollment" policy for students who live outside the boundaries of the school district.  To learn more about this new policy, please call 419-893-3200.  The capped open enrollment application deadline is May 1, 2020, and applications may be picked up from the box attached to the front door of the Administration Building (716 Askin Street). Late applications will be accepted until the second Friday in July for 2020. To learn more call 419-893-3200. LINK TO POLICY.

2020-2021 School Year

Grades K - 12   ** 2020-2021  **

The new student enrollment is for students who are not currently enrolled with Maumee City Schools. A student who completes the school year with the district is automatically enrolled for the next school year. The only exception to this is a preschool student who will attend Maumee City Schools as a kindergartner.

All resident children who will be five-years-old on or prior to August 1, 2020, are eligible to attend our kindergarten program.  Unless a child successfully completes a kindergarten program, he or she is not permitted to enter the first grade.  A Day in the Life of a Maumee Kindergarten Student
