Maumee City Schools Releases 2021 Extended Learning Plan
The purpose of the Maumee City Schools Extended Learning Plan is to help students advance and make up for learning that may have been lost or delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic. Maumee City School parents, teachers, supervisors, support staff, and administrators worked together to determine the pandemic’s effects on our children -- analyzing data to determine gaps in learning, increases in absences, and impacts on social emotional health and well-being. The MCS Extended Learning Plan is driven by student needs, and as such it will be monitored for effectiveness and modified to address emerging needs and situations. The funding for this plan comes from the federal CARES Act for the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund.
